Born and raised in Sydney, Jacqueline was encouraged to be creative from a very young age by her grandmother. At the age of just seven she showed a strong interest in graphic design when she designed her own set of ‘trading cards’ with the faces of famous singers and actors of the early 1990s!
During secondary school she followed her creative side, coming first in class in Visual Art for several years and during her last year of school, she enrolled in Design at the TAFE (Technical and Further Education) college, completing design modules alongside her Leaving Certificate.
Her first year out of school, Jacqueline pursued her design study, continuing on at TAFE to complete the certificate she had begun the year prior. Once completed she advanced to complete the 2-year Diploma course at the same institution.
She was employed soon after completing her 3 years of study and worked within the national design team at Claude Neon where she started as a Graphic Designer for 2 years. At 23, Jacqueline decided to take a year out to travel and after 2 months around Europe she found herself back in one her favourite destinations, Kilkenny. Here she stayed for the remainder of the year and was employed at Koverto/Colourworld.
After returning to Sydney, Jacqueline rejoined the art team at Claude Neon as a contractor, where she furthered her study by completing a certificate of Web Development in the evenings at Ultimo TAFE. After completing this course she became permanent again and advanced to a senior position working alongside the National Design Manager.
After several years of living and working in Sydney she decided it was time to return to Kilkenny with her family and they relocated in May of 2016.
