GOLD COAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Project Details

Client: Lend Lease (Claude Group)

Date: August 30, 2016

In the design of the signage we were to adhere to strict braille codes of Australia with the developer and the architect which was challenging due to the vast amount of different signage within the project totalling 16,800 signs and 3,000 braille signs.
The designs for this project included multi-floor mapping, wayfinding directories, wall directories, compliant statutory signage as well as large external building signage. The $1.76 billion teaching hospital facility for the Queensland government is six storeys tall with 20 operating theatres, 2,200 car parks and a 750 beds.
